Grant Eligibility & Guidelines

Southern Colorado Community Foundation enhances the quality of life and promotes philanthropy through leadership, resources and traditions.

We provide funding for several southeastern Colorado counties.

Community Fund

Preference will be given to requests that encourage or enhance leadership in some way and are granted to organizations throughout the 18 counties we serve.

The majority of grants awarded are $2,000-$5,000.

Spring: March 1
Fall : September 1

Chamberlain Fund

Preference will be given to requests that encourage or enhance leadership in some way and are granted to Pueblo County organizations.

The majority of grants awarded are $2,000-$5,000.

E.M. Christmas Fund

Preference will be given to E.M. Christmas Fund requests that encourage or enhance leadership in some way and are granted to Pueblo County organizations.

The majority of grants awarded are $2,000-$5,000.

Spring: March 1

Kerr Foundation for Children

Requests to the Kerr Foundation are granted based on the impact of the request to Rio Grande and Saguache County organizations.

The majority of grants awarded are $500-$5,000.
