Mission Statement	The Steelworks Center of the West mission is to provide continuing education to the public through the preservation of historic archives, artifacts and buildings of the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company (CF&I), and related activities leading to the industrialization of the entire Western United States.

Volunteer Opportunities	Steelworks Center of the West is always looking for volunteers to help with our fundraisers (3 or so a year), our archives (there are still many files to be cataloged and sorted through), our educational programs for children and our museum. Volunteer opportunities tend to change on a monthly basis.
Volunteer Needs	On-Going Annual One-Time
Volunteer Requirements	Age 16 and up. Our archives building is not currently handicap accessible, but the museum is. Education volunteers must be able to pass a background check.
